Life with SCA1: My Journey – Rouf Banday
Hello everyone, My name is Rouf Banday. I am a Branch Post Master, a husband to a dedicated advocate, and a father to two wonderful sons, Ahil and Moiz. Today, I am sharing a personal part of my life to help raise awareness: I am living with SCA1 (Spinocerebellar Ataxia Type 1). Living with SCA1 means facing daily challenges with balance and coordination, but it does not define who I am. I continue to work, care for my family, and cherish every moment with my boys. I am sharing my story because awareness is the first step toward understanding and, ultimately, a cure. To those fighting similar battles: you are not alone. Our strength lies in our resilience and our community.
